The subway workers confirmed that the strike will continue until tomorrow

Argentina, August 5, 2012

Today, union leaders of the six subway lines decided to extend the strike programmed for the weekend until tomorrow.

Néstor Pianelli, secretary general of the Association of Subway Workers and Premetro (AGTSyP), said both the City Government as the national government “continue in the same position” and “have not proposed a wage increase yet” .

Thus, the workers decided to continue the strike for another day. The same began on Friday at 9 pm and lasted during Saturday and Sunday.
