Bolt set a new record and won the gold medal in the hundred meters

Usain Bolt, the Jamaican runner, set a new record in the Olympics. With a time of 9.63 in the hundred meters is the new winner of the gold medal.

He was also followed by his compatriot Johan Blake, with 9.75 and by the American Justin Gatlin in 9.79.

The previous record was also done by Bolt in Beijing Bolt 2008, with a time of 9.69.
