Shot put: Lauro got the best record in the history of Argentina

The Argentine athlete Germain Lauro achieved a new record for Argentina in the shot put. He ranked third for the final to be held in the afternoon.
For the first time in the history of Argentina in that discipline, an athlete gets reach the final.
Lauro reached 20.75 meters, beating his personal best and the country. “It’s a terrible joy, I understand nothing. I’m happy for everything that is happening, “said Germain.
“We were confident in what we were doing in training. Only expected to do things right,” he added.
