Senator Anibal Fernandez blasted former presidents of the Central Bank, Martin Redrado and Alfonso Prat-Gay, supporting the president who accused them of being “a chain of fear” for their analysis of the economy Argentina today.
“Do they have the nerve to compete head to head with the President? Continue to take the soup and a few glasses of Toddy every morning,” Fernandez said.
“These people, the Prat Gay, the Redrado, who pretend to be funny talking about the ‘Yuyito’ (soybeans) are always paid by non-national interests to say stupid things and take advantage of the economy,” he added.
“In December they beat their breasts saying that Argentina could not grow because it depended on soybeans, which would lose 10%. But now it has a 50% growth,” said the Senator on the radio.
Redrado and Prat Gay, former officials of Kirchner criticized the government’s efforts on such burning issues as the change in the dollar and the parallel markets which already exceeded 6 pesos, as well as inflation that seems limitless.
