Santa Cruz police presented a counterproposal to the governor Daniel Peralta, in the conflict that forced the nation to send troops of gendarmerie to ensure security in the province.
The presentation took place in a large meeting held at dawn today, where the police requested that the wage increase to be done in less time than Peralta’s proposal.
The governor had offered a gradually increasing that reach its peak in March 2013. The police’s offer is less than that period and accepts a rise of 34%, something offered by the provincial leader in its previous offer.
The agents claim that the Governor signs a decree convening a wage board that he had pledged to support but through a bill was filed in the Legislature, where Peralta, faced with Kirchner sectors, has not its own majority.
