Cobos, “Yes, I will be a candidate for national deputy”

Former Vice President Julio Cobos confirmed on Twitter that he will be a candidate for congressman in the legislative elections of 2013, through UCR party.
“I never left politics. We will develop the best proposal. Yes, I will be a candidate for national congressman,” he wrote in that social network.
The UCR acknowledged that betting on Cobos will be its strongest card against the advance of the former Santa Fe governor and leading candidate of Broad Progressive Front (FAP) Hermes Binner.
On Friday, Cobos along with other UCR men as Ricardo Alfonsín and Ernesto Sanz, participated of a day in the province of Tucuman, where they kicked off to start a campaign through which to place the party as the main opposition of Kirchner.
“We are available to the radicalism of Mendoza is coming elections and to the requirement of different sectors, I said ‘count me out’ for the place to be,” said the former vice president.
