The opposition and the Spanish people in general reject the new budget cut by Mariano Rajoy and the political crisis expands further. The vice president said they are “forced” to apply it.

The Minister of Presidency, Soraya Saenz de Santarmaría, said today in a press conference that “Spain lives today one of the most difficult and dramatic moments in recent history.”

The Vice President stated that laws adopted twenty adjustment from here until the end of the year, among which is the increase in VAT. “A must do it,” he apologized.

The announced reforms do not affect the bankers, millionaires, the church and the royal family, which caused anger in the population. However, Saenz de Santamaria said: “In the circumstances, the recommendations, the situation of absolute priority of deficit reduction (…) This recession is severe, the second. Not be helped.”
