Horrific torture to an abandoned dog

In the pictures you can see the horrific abuse suffered by an abandoned dog, which was found with her mouth covered, and the tongue hanging out.

The animal had deep wounds on her body, some deep enough to cause muscle damage, having to give 100 stitches to close.

The dog was first seen on Monday morning on Baker Road in Weatherford, Texas, where temperatures were extreme.

It was running around terrified with pain, after being savagely beaten and tortured. Someone had pulled the tongue before wrapping it with duct tape around her snout.

Her condition was reported to Animal Control and taken to the animal unit Bowie, where the staff treated her wounds and named her “Hope”.

The tape was removed and sent to a crime lab for analysis, hoping that maybe the police the criminal who made the abuse.

Due to feverish and dehydrated, and damage to the tongue, she could not eat or drink.

Once cured the vets said they expect her to start eating and drinking on her own, is her only chance of survival. If she can not eat probably she will die.

Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler describes the condition of the dog as ‘horrendous’.

“I can not imagine what a person would reach such an act of evil.”

He offered a reward of $ 1,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the criminal.
