The media spat between Senator Aníbal Fernández and the secretary general of the CGT has no respite. The former chief of staff wrote a letter to the truck driver where he was remembered as a friend, but criticized as his worst enemy.
“Dear Hugo,” Anibal began. “For many years we have had a good relationship but I would say it was a beautiful friendship.
But “at some point, something happened. I have no idea what. You began to publicly criticize me with expressions like “impostor”, “hyacinth”, “pimp”, “grim”, “sinister”, Fernandez said.
“From big warrior, you became a lapdog of Magnetto, God knows at what price. You stopped worrying about the poor, the disenfranchised, workers” Fernandez wrote openly.
And he added, “I am sorry to lose you. Not as a friend because that is not important when you are in the best interests of the Argentine people. Losing a fighter and nothing less than co-opted by type of such kind, it gives me sorrow. But, it is your life. You’re quite a big boy to have to warn you that you are doing the role of stupid.”
