The City Government asked to avoid taking out the trash to the streets
City of Buenos Aires, July 8, 2012
After a trade union dispute with the scavengers of the city, the city government launched the notice to avoid people from taking out the trash to the streets. Today there will be no harvest, and they seek to avoid the clutter of bags.
The government did not give further details of the conflict. For its part, the authorities argued that “the garbage won’t be taken due to a union conflict.”
The order is to prevent accumulation of waste in the street.
