River fans ask for the resignation of Daniel Passarella

Again, demonstrations are back in the news in Argentine football and more specifically in River. It had already happened last Saturday when River fans gathered in the vicinity of the stadium to repudiate the decision taken by Passarella and Almeyda to leave Dominguez and Cavenaghi out of the First Team. The protest now seeks to ask for the resignation of the president of the team from Nuñez.

The organizers argued that the protest has multiple reasons, among which is the economic mismanagement, failure to listen to the opposition, the season in the Second Division, football decisions and the arrival of reinforcements. The expulsion of the idols was the straw that broke the camel.

The slogan is “resignation of DAP(Daniel Alberto Passarella)” while the call comes through social networks Facebook and Twitter. The event is on Friday July 13 at 8 pm in the Monumental.
