Argentines find way to recycle toxic waste and make glass

The answer to the environmental problem posed by toxic waste is converting it into glass, Argentine scientists say.

The Argentine Cerocon SA  developed the methodology for more efficient recycling hazardous wastes and other wastes.

“We have devised a chemical formula that can transform any type of molecular solid and semisolid and use the raw material for glass manufacture,” says Mario Norberto Fracchia, President Cerocon SA.

He explained that it is “the most effective technology in the world, there is no one that can do this.”
