July 5, 2012

The head of the ruling bloc in the Chamber of Deputies, Agustín Rossi said that the national government increased partnership with the provinces and reduced financial demands during 2012.

“The chief of staff clearly explained yesterday, the government of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has increased the level of direct transfers between the government and the provinces,” said the deputy.

He indicated that the government assists “not only in nominal terms -in fact this first half year the amounts were increased by 24 percent over the same period of last year-, but has also coparticipated taxes that did not exist, such as partnership of 30 percent of export duties on soybeans, which like other co-participation taxes are transferred to the provinces. “

Thus, he responded some accusations from the government of Daniel Scioli, who complain about not receiving any funds had been requested to pay teachers bonuses.
