Alejandro “El Chori” Dominguez and Fernando Cavenaghi broke the silence on the controversy that took place when they learned they would not be invited to the next stage of River in the Argentina premiere league.
“We were both together when we found out we were not going to follow in River,” said Cavenaghi. “After doing several tests and all the things that happened it does not surprise me,” he said.
Dominguez said for his part, “The minimum appreciation of them had been sitting at a table and tell us how things were going to go or tell us from the beginning what was to happen.”
And said: “After analyzing it surprised me happened, but inside I knew that could happen. Besides, I had heard of the son of a leader who said ‘thank goodness that they have little time to 9 and 10′. He was the son of Daniel Mancusi.”
Cavenaghi added, “I would come, but not today while Passarella is in River.”
And Cavenaghi said, “I am very grateful to River, I hope to return someday and give back to people the love they gave us this year.”
