Argentine actress and vedette Ethel Rojo dies at 74

Ethel Rojo, 74, died today at 7:30 in Favaloro Foundation due to a blood cancer, diagnosed in 2008.

Her husband, Gerardo Gonzalez, who was with his wife until the last minute, confirmed the sad news and reported that the wake will be held from 17:00 on 5084 Córdoba Avenue, until tomorrow at 11:00.

Then she will be transferred to the Pantheon of Actors.

Ethel Rojo was suffering from multiple myeloma which is a cancer like leukemia; she had problems with kidney function and underwent dialysis.

Ethel Ines Rojo Castro was born on December 23, 1937 in Santiago del Estero and from very young she danced and marked a golden age in the national theatre.
