President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner said after the dismissal of Fernando Lugo and the assumption of Federico Franco, that “Argentina will not validate the coup in Paraguay.”
“I talked to him (Fernando Lugo), and the Chancellor (Timerman) also was talking to him. This goes beyond Lugo. This goes beyond the figures of the presidents. This is a final attack on the institutions and replicate situations that we thought completely forgotten,” Cristina said.
The president added that there will certainly be joint actions between the presidents of Brazil and Uruguay.Although she was cautious: “I do not want to advance positions that are not agreed with Dilma and Pepe.”
