YPF shares rose by 19% with the purchase of Carlos Slim

Following the purchase of Carlos Slim of 8.4% of Fiscal Oilfields (YPF), the oil company shares soar in New York and Buenos Aires.

Shares of YPF rose by 19.62% on the NYSE, trading at 12.5 U.S. dollars per unit, after the investment by Mexican tycoon.

Meanwhile, the Stock Exchange of Buenos Aires, the company’s shares up 19%, reaching 81.25 pesos per share.
