Another woman attacked by her husband and hospitalized with the 75% of her body burned

Today were learned the news of a pregnant woman of 21 who entered the Hospital San Martin de La Plata with the 75% of her body burned. Nopw it is being investigated whether she was the victim of an attack or if it was an accidental event. Because of the serious injuries, she lost her baby.

Paula Gonzalez remains in the hospital San Martin, where she was rushed from his house in the street 141 between 530 and 531 in La Plata.

For now, the prognosis is “reserved” as it was known that she is with tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation. An ultrasound done this morning confirmed that the “fetus won’t continue alive as a result of burns.”

“She was alone with her children and her partner. His sister called me saying there had been an accident. The children’s father said she was sitting and dropped over alcohol,” told the victim’s lawyer, Sergio Otacevic to the channel Todo Noticias.

“The man’s hands are wounded but according to him it happened because he tried to help her. The family does not believe him,” adding “besides, the alleged accident occurred in a situation of marital fight.” The man is already delayed pending the outcome of expertise.
