The European Parliament voted to remove commercial advantages to Argentina and Brazil

To protect its economy, the eurozone today passed the removal of customs benefits for more than 100 importers. Argentina and Brazil are among those affected.

The European Parliament approved the revision of the tariff preferences of the European Union, which now exclude countries Upper-middle income such as Argentina and Brazil, since 2014.

Because of this review, since 1 January 2014, will have commercial benefits for countries with per capita income exceeds $ 4,000 over the past four years.

101 importing countries are affected, among whom are Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Brazil, Russia and others.
