In an interview, “The Titan” Martin Palermo said he would return to football if the Malvinas/Falkland Islands are returned to Argentna. He showed solidarity with the family of Marita Veron.
“Although I’m not very internalized into the details of the negotiations, all we are surely dreaming and fighting for the same thing: to have the Malvinas recognized as a part of Argentina. What the outcome will be, that is to be seen, but that is my wish and that of many more” said the top scorer Xeneize.
Meanwhile, Palermo got a shirt that reads “I miss Veron.” Juan Sebastian? No, Marita Veron, the girl kidnapped a decade ago by a network of human trafficking.
“I’m sorry, at heart, the whole situation and not be research. It is impossible not to think about his family, because I imagine how it must feel to be adrift, by the uncertainty of not knowing where she is,” he said.
