Biolcati called to “protest in the routes”
June 8, 2012
Hugo Biolcati, president of the Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA), called for cutting trade routes during an act. “We expect a long fight,” he said.
During a meeting of producers in the Buenos Aires on July 9, the member of the Liaison Committee convened to combat tax reform passed by Congress in Buenos Aires.
“We call from here to the producers to appear on the routes to accompany the closing of this agricultural unemployment and the Bureau Liaison is gathered to assess the next steps,” Biolcati said.
“We expect a long fight, and we are ready to take it forward. This strike began with the government’s tax, Scioli had the courage to defend his province and to organize his finances, but their reasons are much deeper for today we can not sell wheat, “he said.
“We have been fighting since 2008, when they wanted to steal the rent, now they want to take away the property, but we are people of good standing, we will not ever give,” he concluded.
