Roland Garros: Del Potro let out a win over Federer

Juan Martin del Potro was on the verge of defeating Roger Federer for a spot in the semifinals of Roland Garros, but the Swiss awoke when seemed lost and got the match.

Del Potro started the game with an extraordinary level and achieved breaking Federer service twice and closed the first set 6-3.

In the second, the Argentine managed to recover from a break and won the set in the tie break 7-6.

But Federer woke up in the third and Del Potro began playing very uncomfortable with his knee injury. Furthermore, the hierarchy of the Swiss kicked in and closed out the set 6-2.

In the fourth set, Del Potro had no spaces and remianed immobilized while Federer achieved a resounding 6-0.

In the end, the Argentine struggled but the Swiss took the ticket to the semis with a 6-3.
