Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri announced the release of mortgages with lower interest rates in the country.
The plan called “BA First House” is aimed at young people who can justify a minimum monthly income of 2,300 pesos and allows the purchase of a home up to 70,000 dollars for people who have no children and up to 95,000 dollars for a family.
“We are working to build a city where young people can have their place and realize their dreams and projects,” Macri said during the launch ceremony.
And he got into the controversy of the dollar: “We talk about dollars because people generally think in dollars when it comes to buying a home and we are not here to tell the neighbors have to talk or think, but to help them build a better future.”
