Following in the footsteps of Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Del Piero announced that he would love to play in Argentina before retiring. He said he is a fan of “Latin American football.”

“I’d love to play in Argentina, Latin football is my type of game. Boca Juniors and River Plate are two big clubs,” said the former Juventus striker (just completed his contract) in an interview in America.

The striker, 37 years old, said: “I have not decided where I will play. It is a delicate issue and I will carefully cherish all the offers I have and when making a decision and communicate it. But I have of course I love Latin American football. “

When asked where he could play, there was the possibility of River Plate, with an old acquaintance. “I have not spoken with Trezeguet, when I do I will. If you call me to convince me, why not? Is one of the best strikers I have ever seen and has an extraordinary ability,” he said.
