The match between Del Potro and Berdych had to be suspended for lack of sunlight. The Argentine was winning 2-1 against the Czech in two hours and 35 minutes of the game.
The partial match remains a 7-6, 1-6, 6-3. The game continues tomorrow after the meeting between Nicolas Almagro and Janko Tipsarevic.
The first set was won by Del Potro in the tiebreak, but the knee pain made him lower the level in the second set. Berdych won it easily 6-1 and left the match in equal sets.
Already in the third Del Potro recovered his level and beat it easily to end winning in the series. Then the referee decided to suspend it due to lack of sunlight.
The winner of this duel will have to play with Roger Federer, who defeated David Goffin 5-7, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4.
