A giant iceberg, imposing and strong enough to shoot down ships, came to the surface of Lake Argentino suddenly in Glacier National Park.

A tourist recorded these spectacular images when visiting the Upsala Glacier (Santa Cruz), realizing the enormous power of nature combined with a beauty that is breathtaking to anyone.

The iceberg suddenly emerges from the cold waters after a change in form and an imbalance in weight. The video of two minutes was uploaded to YouTube yesterday and already has more than 40,000 visits.

The Upsala glacier extends for 60 kilometers and was once the largest in South America, but the scientific evidence suggests that it is disappearing at a rate of 200 meters per year.
