President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner announced that it was granted by a legislative change of mobile phone calls with regard to rates.
The president said that now users will only pay from the time the other person answers the call, until the communication ends.
For over a decade, people had to pay for calls that did not come to term, or when the person could not connect to the caller, according to the legislation so far.
Now mobile phone companies should restructure the system within 90 days. The change comes when some companies such as Claro and Movistar have had problems in the service they provide. In fact today Claro had problems with the course text messaging.
