Carl Faberge was a prominent Russian jeweler and today we remember the 166 anniversary of his birth: May 30, 1846 (died on September 24, 1920).

Since 1870, he was responsible for the family business in St. Petersburg jewelry.

He was a great jewelry designer, working with semi-precious stones and metals, and their designs were of different styles, such as old Russian, Greek, Renaissance, Baroque, Art Nouveau, naturalist and cartoonish, as we can see in the video.
