Abal Medina talks about his work to the Senate and defend the exchange rate system

Cabinet chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina talks about his work to the Senate for the first time since taking in office.

The minister arrived just after 5 pm and is taking stock of his duties before the Senators.

He began his speech with a list of the achievements of the Kirchner administration and defended the managerial flotation system prevailing in the foreign exchange market.

The chief ministers said that the model has been successful and will remain so.
