Roméo Langlois, France journalist of France 24 and Le Figaro was kidnapped by FARC on April 28 while covering an anti-drug operation with Colombia Army.
Now the guerrillas released a video where the reporter is in apparent good health, despite being wounded in the ambush that ended his freedom.
Langlois and the military were surprised by the guerrillas in the jungle. A shooting ended with the lives of four soldiers, while the French journalist was wounded in the arm.
In the video, it is possible to see a bandage on his arm and a towel around his waist. “I know to I am exposed in this type of activity (but) the truth I did not think was going to get so huge. It will be just a couple hours. They were going to check a lab I would do a couple of shots,” he says in the video.
FARC said Langlois will be released next Wednesday May 30.
