David Nalbandian was eliminated in the first round of Roland Garros for the first time in his career, which has been a blow to the Argentine player.

Nalbandian did not participate in the French Grand Slam since 4 years ago and his return was a surprise to be defeated in first round.

David played a tough match against Romanian Adrian Ungur (located at the position 92 of the ATP world ranking), who claimed victory 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, 7-5.

The Argentine had defeated Ungur before, as part of the Davis Cup in 2011, at Parque Roca, Buenos Aires.

Now the Romanian will face world No. 3, Swiss Roger Federer, who beat German Tobias Kamke, 78 of the world 6-2, 7-5 and 6-3.
