Del Potro debuted with a win at Roland Garros

The Spanish tennis player Potro defeated Albert Montanes in his first match at Roland Garros. It was 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-1 in over three hours.

Showing at times some difficulty in his left leg, Juan Martin del Potro, No. 9 in the world, achieved victory to advance to the second round of the French Open.

During the second set, the Argentine began to feel the physical discomfort and the end of it he had to be treated. This is the injury that affected him when he was eliminated in Rome.

Anyway, “Delpo” showed his technical quality and went out to play the third set with mastery. He imposed on Montanes with little trouble and is now in the second round.
