In pictures: Sandstorm cover Baghdad

A thick layer of dust covered Baghdad, the Iraqi capital today amid one of the worst sandstorms in recent years.
The phenomenon hit the city one day before it hosts the global talks with Iran on nuclear weapons.
The sky dyed an orange ominous as the sand of the desert surrounding the city got into the city and caused chaos.
The international airport was closed, businesses were forced to suspend operations and hundreds of residents, and especially those with asthma were hospitalized with breathing difficulties due to the choking air.
