Google Chrome became the world’s most used browser

Google’s browser surpassed the legendary Internet Explorer, which had been the historical leader of the stats. The statistics showed resistance by companies to abandon Windows’s program.

For the first time ever, the Internet Explorer left the top spot for Chrome, with its low memory usage, to pass in front.

The position of the most popular browsers showed Google in the lead with 31.88% of users, followed by Internet Explorer, with 31.47% and 26.42% for Firefox.

Farther were the Safari, Apple, with 7.37% and Opera with 1.71%.

The statistics showed a curious fact: the use of Google Chrome increases during the weekends. This shows the reluctance of companies to abandon Windows’s Explorer.
