Chile: New incidents in a student demonstration

Chilean students march again today, in front of parliament located Valparaiso city, where President Sebastián Piñera expounded on education reform before congressmen.

On the streets dozens of masked men generated incident throwing sticks and stones on the police who repressed at the same time with rubber bullets and tear gas.

Emol reported that “a group of masked men dragged the main barriers located near the Congress to use as barricades and disrupt traffic.”

The president apologized for his mistakes in parliament, but did not specify what the mistakes were.

Students call for free education, as all those graduates of a university, must face a great debt in his first job to pay for college.
