Macri: “Oyarbide and the three appellate judges respond to Kirchner”
May 16, 2012
The head of Government of Buenos Aires, Mauricio Macri, gave a press conference in which he criticized the federal judge Norberto Oyarbide and three appellate judges of appeal who approved his request to move the case to trial.
“This [the cause of espionage] was public knowledge, and if anyone would have believed what they had said the judges, had not taken so many votes,” he said.
“I said at that time and I keep reiterating. This is part of the way they [the Kirchner] believes that politics should be done,” said Macri.
The prime minister accused, then, “Oyarbide answeres completely to Kirchner”.
“Exactly, Oyarbide and the three appellate judges are examples. If you think otherwise, everyone has their opinion. We had already made the complaint, and they said the judge was doing good.”
