Almodovar appeared in the protests with the Indignados in Madrid

This Sunday, at the epicenter of the protests appeared the Spanish film director Almodovar. The demonstration was held to mark the anniversary of the movement born on May 15, 2011. Interviewed, Almodovar said “is one of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced.”

“I sympathize with them, I feel very close to them. I support the left. Something is moving in the best direction, but I do not know what it is, because they are neither politicians nor have the capacity to make laws” he said in a note he did for the online edition of the newspaper “El Mundo”. The filmmaker openly supports the mobilization.

He added, “I identify a lot with these kids and I am delighted that this happens, they can count on me.”
