Santa Cruz will gave back the areas removed to YPF

Argentina, May 12, 2012

Daniel Peralta, governor of Santa Cruz, signed a decree annulling the expiration of the areas that had been removed to YPF before its nationalization. He also assured that he will travel to Buenos Aires to meet with Galuccio, the new CEO of the company. 

“I am convinced that the recovery of our company under our flag will be better for all argentines, we should give back the areas to the company” said the governor.

The decree will be sent to the House of Representatives of the province. In turn, the bloc (PJ-FPV), which has 22 of 24 legislative seats announced it will provide its support for the return of all areas expired.

Peralta on Monday predicted that will travel to Buenos Aires to discuss these issues with Galuccio.
