Prosecutor Carlos Altuve today asked to the Criminal Court of Appeals life sentence for Lucila Frend due to the murder of Solange Grabenheimer and annuls everything done by the Court of San Isidro which acquitted her last year.

Given this presentation, the victim’s mother said, “We believe and we have plenty of evidence to justify and demonstrate that Lucila was the only present that night when Solange was killed.”

Meanwhile, Frend’s mother, said, “Generally we were prepared for this. Usually the prosecutor accompanies the previous prosecution; Luli came into the country to a hearing that took place last week despite having no obligation”.

Although Frend now must wait for the new court to define her procedural situation she has no obligation to travel to Argentina. Presently she is living in Barcelona and if the judges determine she should serve a sentence, Interpol must intervene.

Solange Grabenheimer crime took place on January 10, 2007. Her body was found by her boyfriend Santiago Abramovich, her best friend Lucila and the boyfriend of her.
