The Hall of Lost Steps in Congress housed the remains of cartoonist Carlos Loiseau, better known as Caloi, where thousands of people gave him a last farewell.

The family had initially decided not to make public wake, but after receiving a huge number of calls with great affection, there was a change of heart.

Thus, the five sons of Caloi accepted the offer of the authorities of the Lower house for the wake in Congress.

Numerous personalities from the field of culture gave the last farewell, while president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner sent a wreath.

Almost at eleven o’clock a large crowd with applause said goodbye to the remains of the artist when he left the legislative building.
