Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri gave a press conference where he criticized the national government by the issue of garbage.

The ruling bloc of the Buenos Aires Province Legislature wants to drive a standard to prevent the City waste is deposited in the suburbs.

Given this context Macri said, “It is clear that the President wants to financially bankrupt Buenos Aires.”

“We live in Argentina and we have a metropolitan area,” said Macri. “An important part of waste is generated by the people coming to work every day in the city.”

“We do not split in the General Paz Avenue. We solve problems for citizens who need to live better,” he added.

He also talked about the subway, warning that if the Nation is not responsible for this public transport, “it may have an indefinite strike.”
