The new CEO of YPF, Miguel Galuccio, took over the company in Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut province, before 400 workers, without the presence of political authorities.
Galuccio said that in 100 days will set a strategic plan for YPF, which will have certain objectives to be met within five years.
These objectives relate mainly to increased reserves and production of hydrocarbons with the ultimate aim of achieving self-sufficiency and end imports.
President Cristina Kirchner presented Galuccio last Friday, at Government House when she signed the decree promulgating the law on the nationalization of YPF.
The appointment is specifically designed to meet the goal of absolute professionalism in this new stage in the conduct of YPF, sought by the president, as she explained a few days ago.
