The president of the COA requested the Government to release imported materials

Argentina, May 5, 2012

Juan Curuchet, chairman of the Athletes Commission of the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA), said the Domestic Trade Secretariat retaines in the office “material valued at more than four million dollars” and asked to liberate them to give it to athletes traveling to London for the Olympics.

“We have all materials needed by athletes, standing in the office since October. I have sent emails to Oscar Parrilli to ask him to help the athletes,” said Curuchet on Radio 10.

Meanwhile, the Argentine Olympic Committee president said that “the problem will be solved soon,” adding “I talked personally with Guillermo Moreno and he told me it will be solved in the coming days.”
