In pictures: The terrible attack of a cheetah to an English tourist

An English tourist was attacked by an allegedly tame cheetah at a wildlife park in South Africa.

Violet D’Mello, 60, was attacked by the big cat when she entered a room where people could touch the animals and take pictures with them.

She saved her life pretending to be dead for the cheetah left her, but suffered serious injuries to her head, arms and legs.

The sequence was shot by people who were in the park.

Violet was rushed to a medical center where she recovered from her wounds. “It was terrible and it happened so fast,” she said.
