According to Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry, “her brother and sister want to join the search for her when they grow up.”

The twins Sean and Amelie, now seven years had only 2 when the little girl disappeared.

Mrs McCann said in a TV show, “Sean said, I’m going to work for you to find Madeleine when I grow up.”

She also spoke of her attempts to lead a normal life as possible for the sake of their children, and avoid being too overprotective of them.

Gerry McCann said, “Sean and Amelie fully understand what we are doing at times like this, and why we are far from home.”

“They know we keep abreast of what is happening and changing research.”
