Cristina Kirchner criticized Mauricio Macri for the litter: “You have to pay for treatment”
May 3, 2012
The President, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, talked about the treatment of waste from the Federal Capital, which is done in the Province of Buenos Aires. He demanded that the Government of Buenos Aires “pay what it has to pay” for it.
“I want to dwell a little on the issue of garbage, which is installed in Mar del Plata. It was widely publicized because it was so polluted. Today we have to turn a center of contamination in a processing center for trash. You know that the more waste there is, more and more consumption and progress it represents,” said the President.
“The same thing happens in the capital, which must either pay what they have to pay, pay the Government of the Province by the treatment they do with their garbage there. Campo de Mayo is exhausted,” she said.
“It has to do with the trash only, all the polluted water flows into Berazategui and not fair. If you throw me away, to pay even the cost of treatment,” he continued.
“Every mayor has to take care of your district and try to cooperate for the good of the Argentines. That’s how you rule.”
