Gogó Andreu passed away at the age of 92

Ricardo César Andreu known as “Gogo Andreu” died in yesterday, May 1, at 92, in Providence Sanitarium city Buenos Aires.
Since the end of 2011 his health began to deteriorate, and yesterday he left us surrounded by many people who loved him.
Today, his remains will be veiled from 8:00 on Avenida Córdoba 5084, and at 14:00, the funeral procession will depart toward the cemetery of the Recoleta, where he will be cremated and placed in the Pantheon of Actors.
Gogo was born in Buenos Aires on July 27, 1919, standing as an actor, comedian, musician and composer.
His parents were Elizabeth Anchart and Antonio Andreu, who had a traveling theater company and made tours all over the country.
The tango singer Jose Razzano took Gogo, when he was only 12 years, to the Broadway Theater, where he met Carlos Gardel, and sang ‘Atenti pebeta’.
In 2009 he received the Silver Condor Award for Lifetime Achievement given by the Film Critics Association of Argentina.
