The Constitution of Argentina, was adopted by a constituent assembly in the City of Santa Fe in 1853.

The Constitution was last reformed in 1994.

The Constitution of 1853 ended the civil war and laid the foundation of the National Organization.

The Constitution consists of a preamble and two normative parts:

• Part I: Declarations, Rights and freedoms (arts. 1-43).

• Part Two: Authorities of the Nation (Articles 44-129).
