Francisco De Narváez: ‘We’re giving YPF to La Campora’

Peronist congressman Francisco De Narváez was interviewed by Radio Mitre and said, “We are giving YPF to La Campora. If this ends up being a basic unit of the group, full of officials charged and they do not understand absolutely anything about the oil business, we are going astray.”

The project promoted by the government, which will be discussed in the Lower House next week, according to opposition lawmaker, “the vast majority of their block vote against the initiative.”

“We will be 16 or 17 deputies of the block that we will vote against presenting an alternative project, where we propose to expropriate 51 percent of YPF, proportionately”. It means not only Repsol but also Eskenazi group shares.

He also expressed his fear that “the oil has a similar result or much more severe than the deficit of Aerolineas Argentinas, a company that is five percent of YPF”.
