Two months after the tragedy of Once, the relatives of victims remember their loved ones

Argentina, April 21, 2012

Tomorrow it will be 60 days after the accident that left 51 dead and 700 wounded in the train station of Once due to a collision of the trains Sarmiento. Relatives of the victims will give black ribbons throughout the metropolitan area.

“Between 12:30 and 1 pm we will meet at the station Once, where we will go to different places and corners to hand out black belts,” said María Luján Rey, the mother of Lucas Menghini Rey, the young man who was found dead two days after the accident in a cabin of one of the wrecked cars.

The idea of family is “to add people carrying a black tie to keep alive the memory and our demand for justice”, adding that the trend “will be replicated around the country.”

In relation to the advancement of the cause, she said in a statement that they will read next week a report “when the final report of the skills is done in the first days of next week.”
